The Rules
#1 | the kindness
We expect all of our players to be respectful of others. Don’t be rude or offensive. If you have problems with someone but are reluctant to talk to them directly? Bring it to the mods, and we’ll do our best to help out. We’re all here to have fun, so try to treat everyone well.
#2 | the separation
In-character knowledge or actions are not the same as out of character knowledge or actions. Even if your characters are mortal enemies, you as players can be the best of friends. And even when you know something OOC, your character may not. Remember this, and try not to blur the lines.
#3 | the power
Godmoding is unacceptable. In no situation are you allowed to control any character but your own, except through the other player’s explicit permission. If you are not given permission, don’t do it.
#4 | the communication
We’re not going to pick you apart, but we’d like to see decent quality from your writing. Proper grammar and spelling go a long way. Just the same, be sure to stay true to your characters. We’re definitely hoping for a bit of development over the course of the game, but don’t forget their fundamental personality and ideals.
#5 | the warning
Any logs with graphic violence or sexual themes require warnings, and must be put under a cut. Logs with sexual content must be locked so that only members may view them. You may not play out sexual content with characters under the age of 18 in this game, but you may fade to black.
#6 | the boundary
Breaking the fourth wall is perfectly fine. However, you should be careful about spoilers, and if a player asks that you not break the fourth wall for their character, don’t.
